Condolence From: Brett & Shereen Cowie
Condolence: Dear Sharon & family. I'm so sorry that I can't attend Bill's service due to prior appointments. Please accept our deepest condolences at this difficult time in your lives. Smitty was a pleasure to know & work with all those years on the paper machines. He was my backtender & boss for years until his retirement. I always enjoyed his practical jokes & stories. I will never forget the time when we were on strike & I was delivering pizza's & I dropped a couple off for the boys. I didn't know but smitty wiped his mitts in the fire barrel came over & grabbed my cheeks wiping the black soot on my face. I then drove to my next delivery not knowing about the soot. The look on the woman's face when she came to the door was priceless! Just a funny story for sharing. Again please accept my deepest condolences.

Condolence From: Kathy Poosj
Condolence: So saddened to hear of an old-time neighbor who passed away suddenly. I will always remember Bill growing up, always busy with the things he enjoyed doing. I've lived in the U.S. for 24 years, but each visit back home I would always see Bill in his usual form, tasking all the things that were needed, whether in his yard, or a neighbors. He was like an "Ever-Gezer" Bunny, always had a great attitude. And never hesitated to stop and tell a joke or two. Sympathies to you and all the Family who deeply care for this amazing Man. Sincerely, Kathy Poos (Husband Jeano) (Daughter of Al & Muriel Macdonald)

Condolence From: Tyler, Jennifer & Aidan Gaudreau
Condolence: To the family of late Bill Smith, Please accept our sincerest condolences during this difficult time. We have such fun memories of Bill and regret not seeing him much these past few years. He was always so happy with his grandchildren... so young at heart and playful. It was impossible not to laugh around him and the kids often demostrated more maturity when they we all together! He certainly knew how to rile them up. We loved seeing him at the rink and Mcdonald’s in town. Hoping family are holding fond memories close during this tough time and that God grants Bill rest in peace.
