In memory of Dr. Anita Beltran-Chan whose kindness, gentleness, and warmth touched many lives. She gave me a lilac sprig years ago that has now grown into a big, beautiful, healthy, and fragrant tree. I now plant a tree to honor her life and her memory.

Dr. Anita Beltran-Chen was a very kind soul, very warm and giving. I have fond memories of my time and conversations with her and her gentle and kind husband, Dr. Min-Sun Chen. I still have the lilac sprig that they gave me years ago. That sprig has now grown into a really enormous and very healthy tree that blossoms bountifully every spring and sends its beautiful fragrance every where. The tree reminded me of Anita and more so at this time. Her beautiful spirit touched many lives, including mine, and we are better for having known her. Rest in peace, Anita, and my deepest condolences to Min-Sun and family.
