Darlene Lillian Meservier, wife of Ray Meservier, passed away September 27, 2022 from cancer complications.
She was born in Port Arthur on February 11,1947 to Tauno and Lillian Okerlund.
Darlene loved to travel especially to find a new casino. In her younger years she was very
sports minded, loved a good book and lately colouring books was very calming and enjoyable.
Darlene is survived by her loving husband Ray Meservier, Aunt Eileen Okerlund, niece
Tammy Chiodo (Julio) and family, nephew Wade Okerlund (Jennifer) and family, sisters-in-law
Marie Vance and family, Bonnie Eggert (Emil) and family, brother-in-law Barry Meservier (Valerie)
and family.
Predeceased by her parents Tauno and Lillian Okerlund, brother Roy Okerlund, his wife Hilka,
mother and father-in-law Armand and Catherine Meservier.
As per Darlene's wishes no service will be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
