It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Christine Goodfellow, age 74, peacefully with her daughter by her side on Friday, March 17, 2023.
Christine immigrated to Canada with her family in 1966. She spent the majority of her career as a Social Worker, retiring from Thunder Bay Regional Hospital, Forensics Unit.
Christine adored and loved her family immensely, especially her grandchildren. She also had a great love for her dogs, she spent many years showing them and achieving numerous awards.
Christine is survived by her daughter, Robyn (Jamie) Hatzis and her grandchildren Ethan, Marcus and Alexa as well as her brother Kevin Watson. She was predeceased by her parents, Beatrice and George Watson.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James.
Should friends so desire, donations can be made in Christine's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
